    I think we have basically everything done up that can be done for right now!!!

laundry,haircuts,mowing,cleaning,packing,watering and setting up sprinklers,cleaning out the frig and now it's loading the van!

  Still need to throw in the last few little things once they are dried!!!

  Our thoughts and prayers are with Olen & Emily and the boys as they go thru the coming days -making decisions and adjusting to the big hole that she will be leaving!!!!

She was such an outgoing,beautiful, talented girl and loved to be around people!!

    We will miss you, Stephanie

Birthday parties, dolls and girls!!

The girls spent the day together yest. and very hesitantly asked after lunch if they could bake a cake AND decorate it for their dolls as it is their birthday!!!!!I think they were quite surprised to have permission to do so!!!!They did a good job of baking,decorating and cleaning up!!! and then came the fun part of having the party!!!!!Of course the dolls couldn't eat because of sore throat or something and so alas they had to eat their pieces on their plates!!

Another 39 qts of corn done and in the freezer!!!!!! With about 13 children here to boot!!!

YIKES!!!! There's a mouse in my house!!!!     The sorry little thing has been seen twice on the same day by the same person (me)in the same spot which would be ON TOP of my cookstove!!!! We shall see how long he lasteth!!!!

   Okay the "pictorial update" will have to wait a little longer after 2 days in a row of getting up at 5:30 and bedtime after11:00 I'm not gonna do that now, but a short over veiw of the last 3 days would be!!!

--Doing 28 qts. of buttered beets and 18 pts of pickled beets on Thurs.

--Doing 41 qts. of corn on Fri. and (being maybe halfdone)!!!And then going to town and getting my BARGAIN OF THE YEAR!!! Which would be an all-american pressure cooker at a garage sale for.......... anybody care to guess?????????? ONLY 7 BUCKS!!!!!!!!!!! I was sooooooooo thrilled!!! We looked it up and brand-new they only cost 195.99!!!!

--And then that eve. having my dear sis come up and help with all the mowing.

--Sat. morn sat at the aforementioned yard sale with my SIL and Jessica thot a lemonade stand would be just the thing!!!!  Counting the money made so far!!!

 By this eve I am bushed  and evens gave up the wedding that we were invited to this eve. just cuz....

--Cleaned house and Also made food for the carry-in tomorrow and since my 2 sidekicks won't be there, I'll have to be in charge so I really should get there a little earlier, no sleeping in for me, but woe to anybody that messes up my nap tomorrow afternoon!!!

  This doll has quite the story!!Jessica happened to see it at the ETC shop several weeks ago on their silent auction and really wanted to bid so she got her own number and raised the bid to $12.00  and after she is high bidder for 3 consecutive days its hers... well she has this money that she's been getting thru the years as an incentitive for good grades at school and so decided she would bid until 40.00 and  then thats it!! Well at $26.00 she was high bidder until the eve of the third day someone raised it again, and boy was she disappointed but she kept on calling in and checking what was last bid and bugging whoever she could to go put the next bid down (hey Jenny you are prob glad this is over with,eh?) Any how the last bid she put down was $40.00 and now it was just a matter of praying that nobody raises it, the first and second day went by and the morn of the third she was still high and so was the excitement!!!!! That eve at 4:58 (practically) she calls again and SHE"S still high!!!!!! Boy is she excited or what!!! I said they still haven't called and you haven't paid for it yet, don't count your chicks before they are hatched!!! yeah, yeah mom!!! so on Fri afternoon while on the run to town we went to the ETC shop and explained that we hadn't got called but think we have the high bid!!! And the lady was like yeah you must be _______ alas not our name but it was written 40.00 on there so after explaining and her checking again she discovered that she had written on the wrong name and by then Jessica was hardly touching the ground!!!! She said she would just feel like hollering she was sooo happy !!! She did refrain herself tho!!!

  BACK AGAIN!!!!

    We got back last night in time to haul all the clothes out to the laundry room and stick some leftover food in the frig and do several loads of laundry, give everybody showers and wash hair"in a REAL shower" which were Jessicas words and still be in church by 8:00!!!!

  Now today its a full day of doing red beets for Rhonda, she only brings 8 chillins and I'll have 3, you do the math and see if we'll have enough "help"!!!!!!

   I do hope maybe I can do the mowing this eve and also do some things over at church for the carry-in we'll have on Sun.   as tomorrow I have a  dear SIL who said she'll take the children for a whole day as a birthday gift for me!!!! Oh yes we can handle that!!!!!!
